This is now my fifth year in real estate. I'm from Southern California originally but have moved to Portland recently to be close to family. I have a younger brother in Denver and my sister and her family are here in Portland. My father and step mother are currently in Boise Idaho but are thinking of moving back to sunny southern California. Like 80% of the population in Los Angeles I was involved in the film industry. I was a camera operator for 10 years. It became a stressful job and I no longer enjoyed what I was doing. We had a family friend that was a real estate agent so I spoke with her and I made the move and got my license. This was the best move I have ever made. It is very gratifying to help someone with one of the most important descions of their life. To be a part of that and guide them through the process is like nothing else I have experienced.
My education is varied and I spent a great deal of time in college trying to figure out what I was going to do. I started out as a business major with a minor in marketing and economics. I also wanted to play football at my junior college so I had alot of physical education classes under my belt. When I moved over to California State University at Northridge my interest in business faded and I found myself in film school where I eventually graduated. Here I am back in business. It's funny how things turn out. The joke is if I went back to school it would take me a year and a half to get 3 more degrees.
